2. Your Energy Assessment |

 *We can put you in touch with an assessors who will carry out an energy survey on your home. Please note that this will incur an additional cost and is not included in the €99 to join the Energy Smart Community.
What happens?
The survey simply makes recommendations on the areas in your home where you could improve your energy efficiency.
The survey will assess the energy efficiency of all of your current insulation, heating and lighting systems inside and outside of your home.
Afterward, the surveyor will supply you with a comprehensive report with specific recommendations on making your home more energy-efficient along with relevant cost estimates.
Joining your Energy Smart Community
If you decide to carry out some of the survey recommendations, joining your Energy Smart Community can save on the cost and hassle of carrying out energy efficiency improvements through a group tender process.
You will qualify for a grant of €100 towards the
Building Energy Rating

BER
) provided you meet with SEAI's requirements
